This job would suit a graduate with a little post studies experience who has a keen interest in policy development working for a market leading business facilitation organisation. It's a varied role, helping develop policies by working with stakeholders. It would suit someone with a keen interest in business, commerce and politics.
This hybrid role involves closely collaborating with the Head of Sectors to support a designated Strategic Business Unit (SBU) within our client's organisation in achieving its strategic goals and priorities. The Executive will also provide support to specific sectoral trade associations in their policy, communications, and events work, as required. This presents an excellent opportunity for a creative and dynamic professional to gain broad experience in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This list outlines the functions/actions required to deliver the necessary outputs and outcomes.
Supporting delivery of our client's Strategy, including in these areas:
Strategy delivery
Risk Management
Cross-division networking and collaboration, including on specific projects
Change management
Governance
Support specific sectoral trade associations:
Participate in and coordinate sector meetings, including sourcing speakers, ensuring appropriate minutes and papers are prepared, and actions implemented.
Deliver member services, including events, webinars, and networking.
Member Relations:
Prepare member communication and information channels.
Build and maintain relationships with senior executives in member companies.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Hold a primary degree in a relevant discipline.
Additional relevant postgraduate/professional qualifications would be an advantage.
Knowledge:
An understanding of our client's service offering.
Good grounding in strategy implementation.
Keen interest in policy and communications.
Experience:
2-3 years of relevant experience.
Work in a busy environment, managing demanding workloads and tight deadlines.
Strong relationship skills, with a proven track record in managing both complex internal and external stakeholders.
Interface with senior executives in a committee and working group environment an advantage.
