Library Assistant
Effective Date: for the start of the 2023-2024 School Year
Crescent Heights High School is looking for a caring and dedicated individual to fill a full-time Librarian position. Main duties will include taking leadership in organizing and maintaining the school library, facilitating literacy themes, assisting students and staff with accessing library resources, tracking and managing school chromebooks, creating school IDs and various other duties. Preference will be given to applicants who have previous library experience, previous experience with the integrated library software systems, and proficiency using Microsoft Office. This individual will also value a student-centered focus and a positive team/collaborative approach. The successful candidate must be aligned with the values and vision of Crescent Heights High School and Medicine Hat Public School Division.
Crescent Heights High School has a student population of approximately 1200 students in Grades 7-12 and is located in the North Central area of the city. The CHHS learning community benefits from offering French Immersion and Middle School programming among many other student opportunities.
