The role
About Vintage is currently looking for the right person to continue to grow the Brand and sales in Japanese where we successfully have created significant growth the past years. The role is offered as a part time position 20 hours per week. The team behind About Vintage are passionate entrepreneurs with exceptional marketing skills as well as the ability to get their hands dirty and build something from the ground up. Having an outstanding can-do attitude as well as an ability to be persistent and relentless is of utmost importance when building new markets.
Responsibilities
Identifying new and innovative ways to drive traffic to our future Japanese websites as well as developing and improving traffic from existing channels.
Keeping the website, managing customer orders, translate content, as well as executing campaigns.
Work in synergy with the rest of the About Vintage marketing and country management team to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve our brand reputation and presence in Japan.
Deliver best in class customer experience partnering closely with design and editorial teams to brief and build engaging product pages that provide the customer with relevant information, advice, and conversion opportunity.
Handle customer service in Japan (both B2C and B2B)
Skills & Qualifications
Have a natural flair for good conversation and enjoy direct customer contact
Be native in Japanese, and be professionally proficient in English, and good in translation
Be a problem solver with an inquisitive mind
Be nimble to deliver results and meet required deadlines
